The Cleanstream TXR-1 Sewage System is the latest addition to the Cleanstream family. It is a complete, one tank (multichambered) textile media system made from steel reinforced concrete.
It is is ideal for beach properties, dwellings with intermittent occupancy or larger homes with higher peak loadings.

The concept of biofiltration has been around for many decades. The process involves a combination of biological action and filtration. Over time this process has been developed and improved. In todays environment, biofiltration has been proven to be a very successful solution to treating household sewage waste for larger family homes. The use of modern technologies has also made it possible to develop smaller household sewage systems, capable of producing a very high standard of treated effluent.
The high performance CleanStream T.X.R-1 has been designed with a combination of traditional methods and new technology. After a long trial period and extensive testing, the T.X.R. has proven to be a very effective alternative to other methods of sewage treatment.
How it works
- The system receives all household waste.
- The waste is transferred through a four chambered system and pumped over a biomass textile filter.
- A process of spraying effluent over the biomass filter on a continuous cycle further cleans the water to a very high quality.
- The clean treated water exits the system from the pumping chamber into a system of drip irrigation.
- The final result is nutrient rich, clear water ideal for irrigating planted areas such as orchards, shrubs, gardens and shelter trees.
